About This Event
In commemoration of the annual Global Mental Health Awareness Week, the JABadaki (JAB) Foundation proudly organized a mental health outreach at GYB Model Science Secondary School.
The impactful session focused on educating students and staff about the importance of mental health, understanding good and poor mental health, and addressing critical issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, and drug abuse.
The enlightening sessions were facilitated by the Founder, Prof. Jacqueline Azumi Badaki, alongside specialist consultant Dr. Daniel Ajogbon. The program was highly interactive, with students actively participating, asking thoughtful questions, and showing genuine eagerness to learn more about mental health and wellbeing.
The event concluded with the presentation of a Certificate of Partnership from the JAB Foundation, which was graciously received by the Vice Principal Mrs Rumide who represented the principal, Chief Ajofe Yakubu Godwins and School Counsellor Mrs Toyin Omotosho-Jimoh of GYB Model Science Secondary School.
